What you need to make Almond Flour Choc chip Oat Cookies: – 150 g butter – 60 g xylitol – 1 tsp vanilla extract – 150 g ground almonds – 100 g oat flour – 60 g porridge oats – small – 80 g dark chocolate chips

How to make these Healthy Chocolate Chip Cookies

Step 1 Start by adding the butter, xylitol and vanilla essence to a small saucepan.  On a low heat gently melt the ingredients

Step 2 – In a large bowl add all the dry ingredients, except for the chocolate chips and mix well

Step 3 – Add the melted butter to the dry ingredients and combine   – Then add 60g of the chocolate chips and gently stir through.

Step 4 – scoop out 10 equal-sized balls of cookie dough and place them on your prepared baking trays.

Step 5 – Flatten the balls, using a small spatula and add the remaining chocolate chips (about 6 per cookie)

Step 6  Place them in the preheated oven and bake for 15 minutes

1. Use a large cookie cutter when the cookies are hot to gently swirl the cookies around the mold. This will help to even edges and give you perfect round cookies.
